In this lesson, we will learn the methods used in Excel to enter serial numbers (Fill Series).
Assuming we have a series of information and we want to know the number of this series or we want to add numbering to it, we will do the following steps:
1- In the first cell we write the number 1.
2- From the toolbar and from “Home” we choose “Fill”.
3- So, from “Fill” we choose “Series”.
4- Here we will specify the starting number from which we will start and the ending number at which we will stop in addition to the option “Columns” to be considered vertical.
5- Then, we choose “Ok” so the series will be filled.
